Beveridge Williams have been engaged by the principal Contractor AbiGroup, to undertake preparation of SP Plans, VicRoads OP Plans (for Lease Purposes) and Gazettal Plans for the entire 27 kilometres of the Proposed Peninsula Link Freeway from the Eastlink Interchange at Seaford to Mornington Peninsula Freeway, Tuernong. This involves the preparation of approximately 47 SP Plans, 42 OP plans and 35 Gazettal Plans. The SP plans act as the basis for the OP plans and the Gazettal Plans, and identify the different land types and proposed new boundaries, both in plan view and in stratum. Boundary considerations include shared walking and cycling paths, the 9 designated local road interchanges and the 28 bridges Plans have been prepared to meet the rigorous requirements and standards set by both VicRoads and Office of Surveyor General. The production of so many plans involves considered scheduling of plan preparation, as constructed survey of bridge structures and checking to ensure that all plans are delivered within the expected time frame. Liaison with Linking Melbourne Authority, VicRoads, Office of Surveyor General and AbiGroup has been paramount throughout the entire contract.
